This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. Grand County Warrant Records is a private reference site. It cannot confirm a warrant, arrange an appearance, accept payment, change court records, or offer legal advice. Official answers must come from the court that issued the order or the law-enforcement office handling service.
Where to Direct Official Warrant Questions
Choose the office that holds the record. The main courthouse has more than one court clerk, and the County Clerk/Auditor is not a clerk of the courts.
- Traffic, infractions, or Class B/C cases: Grand County Justice Court, 125 E. Center Street, Moab, Utah 84532; 435-259-1334; gcjc@grandcountyutah.net or jcmoab@utcourts.gov.
- Felony or Class A case: Seventh District Court clerk, 125 E. Center Street, Moab; 435-259-1355. Ask for the case staff member listed in the court directory.
- Service, booking, or custody: Grand County Sheriff/jail, 25 S. 100 E., Moab, Utah 84532; 435-259-8115. The jail line is listed 24/7; administration hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Moab police report or city record: Moab City Police, 435-259-8938, or dispatch at 435-259-8115. City GRAMA requests go through the Moab Open Government page.
The Sheriff’s GRAMA form requests a state ID and a specific record description. County instructions state a 10-working-day response period, with an expedited route only when legal requirements are met. A GRAMA request does not recall an active warrant.
For Grand County warrant information, the public first check is the Utah Statewide Warrants Search, linked by the Bureau of Criminal Identification. For a result, contact the named clerk and retain the case number. Use an attorney for advice about a specific warrant or appearance plan.
